Christian Cowart
ATTORNEY
Christian continues to follow his passion for storytelling as a trial attorney focused on intellectual property and business disputes. His work focuses on a variety of intellectual property issues ranging from advertising under confusingly similar trademarks to protecting patented inventions to copying original photographs. Prior to working at Creedon, Christian represented both large and small companies in cases concerning securities fraud, trade secret theft, employment discrimination, and business ownership disputes. While Christian has primarily served as an intellectual property litigator, his first trial was a pro bono case to protect a mother and her children seeking asylum.
When he is not working, Christian’s favorite hobbies are hiking with his German Shepherd, reading literature, and watching motion pictures and television productions. The books that have been most influential include Thomas à Kempis’s The Imitation of Christ, Fyodor Dostoevsky’s The Brothers Karamazov, and St. John Chrysostom’s On Wealth and Poverty. Some films that have influenced him include Federico Fellini’s 8 ½, Andrei Tarkovsky’s Stalker, Terrence Malick’s The Tree of Life, Krzysztof Kieślowski’s Dekalog, and BBC’s A Perfect Planet.
