Charles Wallace Presents at the January 2019 Art & Law Workshop

On January 12th, Frisco Arts & Frisco School of Music and Performing Arts hosted Creedon PLLC Associate Charles Wallace for their first joint Art & Law Workshop. Charles relied on his knowledge of entertainment law principles as well as his many years of performing, management, and production experience to offer a presentation focusing on the intersection of law and the performing and visual arts—with practical guidance for the aspiring artist related to trademark, copyright, contracting, and brand development. As an artist himself, Charles embraced the opportunity to give back to the North Texas artistic community, and will be offering additional workshops in 2019 focusing on specific areas of the arts such as musical performance.

Charles graduated from Hendrix College with two BA’s in Theatre Arts & Cinematography, where he also wrote, produced, and edited his own feature-length film “A Road Trip Story.” He studied film marketing at the Accademia dell'Arte in Italy, and he has many years of experience working in theatre, commercial film production, and talent management. He received his JD and the Entertainment Law Certificate from University of New Hampshire School of Law, where he was also awarded the Sports and Entertainment Law Institute Entertainment Law Award.
